About
Introduction
I'm Mika – a danish designer, photographer and SoMe manager with a professional background and experience in graphic design, content production, photography, communication, social media and operational management.
I've worked for companies such as the Danish Broadcasting Corporation (DR), the Danish Skating Union and the Danish State Railways (DSB).

Graphic design
I am a formally trained graphic designer with professional experience from the Danish Broadcasting Corporation (DR), where I produced content for their website and social media.
My work has spanned visual identities, layout design, digital design and communication. I'm strong within digital branding, communication and social media, where I thrive developing content within the rules of brand guidelines.
Besides my design background, I have a strong technical understanding, making me quickly adapt and understand new software or tools. I am highly experienced with technology in general.
Photography
I have experience with (D)SLR-cameras and understanding of composition, lighting and post-production workflow.
Photography is not just a question of turning on a camera and pressing a button, but a craft that requires skill in mastering settings such as exposure, focus and shutter speed based on location.
This is a skill, I have mastered, since I do a lot of sports photography within the world of figure skating, inwhich I am part of. Examples can be found on my Instagram or on my photography website.
Operational Management
I have experience with operational management and leadership from my role as a operations manager at the Danish State Railways (DSB), where I was responsible for all onboard train personnel.
This position required decisive leadership, taking action, clear communication and the ability to act under pressure – especially when dealing with acute disruptions or network incidents. This has given me skills in operational decision-making and crisis management.
